Allison K. Divers, M.D., is certified by the American Board of Dermatology, trained in medical, surgical and aesthetic skin care and treatment. Dr. Divers was a registered nurse prior to attending Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia, and knows that her nursing experience was invaluable to the physician she has become.
In addition to serving her patients’ dermatologic needs in her daily practice, she believes very strongly in supporting basic scientific dermatology research, and is a member of the Dermatology Foundation, Leaders Society.
Dr. Divers is especially interested in the surgical treatment of skin cancer and very much enjoys cosmetic dermatology. Her eye for art compliments her aesthetic talents in serving her patients.
Her primary training, continuing education, maintenance of certification, and all professional efforts are dermatology focused. Skin care is her soul practice.
